Brad Pitt, who’s in Venice to promote his new movie, “The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford,” just got the scare of his life while walking down the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival.

A crazed female fan managed to squeeze her way through the thick crowd and Brad’s own security team and put his arms around the actor, who obviously wasn’t be too happy about what happened.

“It was a scary moment. The security team must have been embarrassed that somebody got so close to him. She could have been anyone,” an onlooker said. “Brad didn’t look too happy.”

Brad is lucky the fan wasn’t some kind of deranged stalker with a mind to stabbing or shooting him or cutting his balls off. Wait, scratch that last one. Angelina Jolie has already beaten everybody else to it.

I guess the entire security team’s getting fired any moment now.
