I said in this blog a few days ago that Bridget Moynahan will never name her newborn baby Tom. As it turns out, the statuesque model-actress is a lot more pissed at the baby’s dad, superstar quarterback Tom Brady, than that. She actually didn’t just not give the baby his daddy’s first name, but didn’t give the kid his old man’s last name as well.

And he even barely got a glimpse of his kid, even though he flew to L.A. by private jet last week for the birth of John Edward Thomas Moynahan. Now that is one pissed off mommy.

“Tom was only allowed to see the baby for a short time,” says a West Coast spy. “Bridget would not see him herself.” Moynahan’s publicist said in a statement: “Bridget is very thankful for a happy baby, excited about being a mother, and very pleased that the father, Tom Brady, was able to be there for the birth.”

But our source says: “He was only allowed to come after the baby was born. The woman would not see him, period. And she gave the baby her last name.”

“[Tom] is waiting to find out when he can see the little guy again,” says the snitch. “Bridget is not giving him any slack on this at all.” [Source]

Can’t blame Bridget, really. Apparently, getting knocked up then being dumped for a supermodel makes a woman bitter and resentful. Bridget’s rep, however, says that her client and Brady “are on speaking terms and have the best interests of the child at heart”. Yeah, whatever.
