O.J. Gets Busted For Armed Robbery

O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday in connection with an armed robbery that allegedly took place at hotel/casino in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas picked O.J. up at the Palms Casino Resort, and announced that O.J. will be charged with six counts of robbery, assault, burglary and conspiracy. Another guy named Walter Alexander has already been arrested the day before in connection with the robbery. Two guns suspected to have been used in the robbery were seized from him.
“I don’t know why they arrested him,” Simpson told CNN before his own arrest. “I’ve stayed in contact with the police, and the truth will come out.”
Simpson already had been questioned during the investigation into several items of sports memorabilia that were taken from collectors in a room at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino. Simpson has said the items belonged to him.
Alexander was arrested Saturday night and charged with two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, one count of conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, the source said.
Now O.J. really is in trouble. Johnnie Cochran and Robert Kardashian, two of the lawyers who bailed him out the last time, are already defending criminals in the afterlife. Hopefully this time, the jury wouldn’t be as stupid as those who acquitted Simpson in 1995.
