Wood Thinks Sex In Music Video Is ‘Romantic’

The blood-drenched sex scene between Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood in the music video for the rocker’s “Heart-Shaped Glasses” is hardly the stuff of romance novels, but for the barely legal Wood, that was pretty romantic. Barf.
“At the end of the video, we’re kissing and it’s raining blood – and for me, that was one of the most romantic moments of my entire life,” Wood, 19, says in the September issue of GQ magazine.
The music video for Mason’s song, “Heart-Shaped Glasses” – which Wood explains does not contain actual sex – caused quite a stir, but to hear the actress’s description, it’s artistic and sentimental.
“We made it for each other … Because that’s how we were feeling at the time: Even though ugliness can be all around you – you can literally be in a thunderstorm of blood – if you look past that, it really is just two people holding on to each other.
I’m pretty sure that “ugliness” remark wasn’t just referring to all the stuff “around” her, but also to the one “on top” of her in that video.
In any case, Wood goes all mushy about Manson in the interview, saying his loud snoring serves as some sort of a lullaby. She also gets defensive, that she’s “sorry if I have blond hair and blue eyes and my boyfriend looks like a vampire. What do you want me to do about it?”
Here’s what you should do, dear: don’t go making any more videos, at least ones that get shown to the public, of you getting laid with a person who collects human skeletons as a hobby while swimming in blood. Unless you wanna ruin people’s dinners over and over again.
